2019 Nissan Titan and Titan XD: Performance and Versatility
The 2019 NissanTitan and Titan XD boast powerful, versatile engines designed to meet the toughest demands.
The 2019 Titan is powered by a 5.6-liter Endurance® direct injection V8 engine with Variable Valve Event and Lift Technology, partnered with a seven-speed automatic transmission. This engine lays down 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque. Crew Cab Titan models can tow up to 9,380 pounds, King Cab® models can tow up to 9,450 pounds, and Single Cab models can tow up to a whopping 9,660 pounds. The Titan offers 1,620 pounds of payload.
The 2019 Titan XD is available with the same Endurance V8 gas engine, but it’s also available with the Cummins® V8 Turbo Diesel engine. This beastly Diesel engine cranks out 310 horsepower and 555 lb-ft of torque while enabling towing of up to 12,710 pounds. The Titan XD boasts 2,470 pounds of payload.
Nissan equipped these massive trucks with a number of technologies to enhance their towing power and take the stress out of trailering. These include Tow-Haul Mode, which reduces gear shifts for added convenience; the RearView Monitor with available guidelines for easier hitching; the available Intelligent Around View Monitor for an even easier task of hooking up the trailer; an available integrated Trailer Brake Controller for more stability; an available Remote Trailer Light Check system so that drivers can easily test out all the trailer lights without needing to be inside the truck’s cabin; and available Trailer Sway Control for easier driving on bad roads and in crosswinds.
Off-roading in the Nissan Titan or Titan XD is made easy thanks to Active Brake Limited Slip, ample ground clearance, and shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive. Better yet, you can drive with the confidence of having America’s best truck warranty, with five years or 100,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper coverage.
